Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirms another 14 individuals have been tested positive for Covid-19 virus while 10 new recoveries were reported.
According to the authority, the newest positive batch includes 8 locals, 3 Bangladeshis, 2 Indians and one Sri Lankan.
With this latest development the total number of positive cases reported in Maldives have surged to 2,217 while the total number of locals testing positive have reached 775. Meanwhile Bangladesh reports the highest number of positive cases with regards to nationalities.
As of 22 June the total number of active cases have slightly increased to 404 from the cases reported on Sunday.
Meanwhile the total number of recoveries have increased slightly from yesterday to reach 1,813 with the additional 10 cases reported on Monday.
