The Parliament has urged the public not to misuse the information it publishes about its work and members.
This comes after a post about underperforming parliamentarians went viral in the country yesterday.
In a statement, the Parliament said that the sessions and committee work are being published on the parliament website to provide the information to the people in the most transparent manner possible.
It said the parliament released information and statistics on bills, resolutions, issues, and questions posed to the ministers and committees involved so far, but that is not the only work the MPs do in parliament.
The parliament said that many of the important works of the agency are carried out in parliamentary committees. It also noted that his work in parliamentary sessions and committees will be completed with the participation of all members of parliament.
It further stated that the work of MPs in Parliament is reflected not only in the number of bills sponsored by MPs but also in the participation and consultation of MPs at various stages.
The parliamentary office has urged the public not to misuse the information being made public about the work of the parliament.
