Bank of Ceylon, BOC says in light of the Covid-19 situation in Maldives, the bank would continue its services via email.
In a statement, BOC requested its customers to submit transactions to the following email addresses.
-E-cash: [email protected]
- Real-time gross settlement RTGS: [email protected]
-Salary: [email protected]
-Internet banking password reset: [email protected]
BOC said next week the bank will be open on 27th April (Monday) and 29th April (Wednesday) from 09:00hrs to 12:00hrs.
The bank said that it would only be providing essential banking services on these days.
Health Protection Agency HPA had reported a spike in Covid-19 cases in Maldives after the 1st transmission in the capital was reported in Male on the 15th of this month. Since then a total of 66 people have contracted the virus taking the total positive to 86 in Maldives
