The President's Office has declared that the official government working hours throughout Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
It said that this practice has been in place since 1443 Hijra.
The President's Office also said that the fourth directive issued by the President's Office on March 6, 2022, states that official government working hours throughout Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This year, Ramadan is expected to begin on Friday, Feb. 28, or Saturday, March 1, 2025, and end on Sunday, March 30, 2025, or Monday, March 31, 2025, depending on the sighting of the moon.
The Islamic Ministry is expected to convene the Moon Sighting Committee next week.
