Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef attended the Zakat Fund Scholarship awarding ceremony held last evening at the Islamic Centre conference hall.
During the ceremony, the Vice President presented certificates to the recipients of the Zakat Fund and special scholarships.
Out of the 24 recipients, 17 were granted full scholarships, six were granted stipends, and one recipient was granted full tuition fees.
The event also featured a video presentation on Zakat.
