Two men have been arrested for allegedly robbing from Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital IGMH.
Police arrested two locals from Male' aged 40 and 46 respectively.
The Criminal Court remanded the 40-year-old for 7 days in police custody while the 46-year-old was remanded for 15 days.
Court documents revealed that the duo had been accused of stealing aluminum from the hospital. The documents also stated that the suspects said that hospital staff permitted them to take the aluminum.
However, the suspects were unable to give the names of the staff, and the duo attempted to steal parts of an AC too.
The 40-year-old suspect denied committing the crime and said that he went to the site of the crime because a friend had asked him to stop by.
