Police have confirmed that a man with physical injuries has been found near the MNDF-run Senahiya Hospital in Male'.
They said that the man was discovered earlier today.
Police further said that the man had been identified as a local and had been taken to Senahiya Hospital for treatment.
They had cordoned off the area where the man was found and were active at the scene of the discovery.
Police did not give information about the nature of the injuries the man had suffered.
Such discoveries are common in the Maldives, especially Male'.
Last October, a man with injuries was found on one of the busiest roads of the capital. The man who was found on Majeedhee Magu was treated and discharged from the hospital.
