Police have arrested two men for allegedly setting fire to a car parked in the parking zone on Sinamale' 01 parking zone.
They said the incident was reported on the 25th of this month and that the car was set on fire around 06:25 in the evening.
Police confirmed that they apprehended two suspects in the case under a court order and also revealed the identity of the duo.
They arrested 35-year-old Khalid Mahmood and 31-year-old Hassan Naseem.
Police are further investigating the case.
The motive of the arson attack remains unclear and police did not reveal whether the suspects had previous criminal records or give any information about the owner of the car.
