President Dr Mohamed Muizzu declared Sunday, November 10, 2024, a public holiday.
The President’s Office issued a directive today, announcing the holiday and ensuring that employees are entitled to uninterrupted leave during holidays.
According to this year's calendar, the day before the Republic Day holiday (Sunday, November 10, 2024) is an official working day.
With this change, there will be three public holidays in November aside from the weekends. These include the 10th and 11th of November as well as the 3rd of November which is the victory day.
