Police have arrested a man who vandalized the Police Station in Phase 1 of Hulhumale'.
They identified the suspect as 24-year-old Zaidhan Mohamed Zahir of Henveiru Hemavathi in Male'.
Police said that the suspect was apprehended in the early hours of this morning for breaking the door light on the west side entrance of the police station in Phase 1.
Police had initially towed the suspect's motorcycle after he was caught riding his vehicle dangerously and he had been at the Police station to get his vehicle from the police.
They also said the suspect was searched after he was detained and that Police discovered a small packet with substances suspected to be narcotics in the pocket of his jeans.
Police said they were further investigating both the cases.
