Police have arrested a woman at Velaana International Airport with drugs.
They said that a 30-year-old local woman was arrested at the Airport last night for the possession of narcotics.
Police further said that once they searched the suspect, they discovered 209 grams of drugs in her possession. Police said that they confiscated two rubber packets of drugs from her person.
They also said that the Criminal Court remanded the suspect in custody for five days.
Police are further investigating the case.
