A man has been injured in a motorcycle crash in Addu City last night.
Police said that the crash happened around 23:49 and that the man had crashed into a pile of sand while speeding on his motorcycle. Police said the sand pile had been dug up for the water drainage system being built in Addu City, Hithadhoo.
The 23-year-old victim was rushed to Addu Equatorial Hospital after the crash. The Hospital said that they are working to shift the victim to Male' for further treatment.
Police added that they are investigating the incident further.
