Police and MNDF solidiers have been deployed to the scene of an explosion reported from a parked van in Male'.
Police said that a loud noise like an explosion was heard from a parked van on Galolhu ward (Galolhu kanmathi). Police further said that no one was hurt in the incident.
They also said police officers as well as MNDF official are active on the scene.
Local media reported that the explosion was heard from a while van parked on the street and that the widows of the van had been blown off in the explosion.
Media reports also said that MNDF bomb squad and Police forensic team are on the scene.
