Speaker of the Parliament Abdul Raheem Abdullah has appointed the former MP for Villimale Constituency Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik as the Bureau Chief of the Parliament Secretariate.
The Parliament said that the former MP was appointed to the post to assist Speaker of the Parliament Abdul Raheem Abdullah under Parliament Service Regulations.
It also said that Nihan started reporting for his post yesterday. Fathimath Mohamed Solih, the sister of former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, formerly held the post.
