Police have confirmed that they have arrested three locals who threatened two policemen in plain clothes.
They said that last night around 22:00 three local men had threatened two policemen in plain clothes with a knife and initiated a scuffle. Police said that all three men have now been taken under their custody.
Police said the suspects include a 35-year-old man as well as two 39-year-old men.
Police also clarified that they had received complaints over how the police on the scene had arrested the suspects and that the police professional standard command has now launched an investigation into the arrest.
They added that they were further investigating the incident.
