Police say an accident in Hulhumale today involving 3 vehicles has injured two individuals.
They said that they received the report of the incident around 06:20 a.m. this morning. Police said that a van driving on Nirolhu Magu of Hulhumale' had crashed into the car in front of it and that the car subsequently crashed into a parked car on the side of the road.
Police said that the drivers of both the van and the car received minor injuries in the collision and both drivers were local males aged 46 and 52 respectively.
They also said that both drivers have valid driving licenses.
Police also added that all three vehicles sustained damages during the collision. Police further confirmed that they were now investigating the incident.
Traffic accidents have grown frequent in the highly congested Greater Male' Area with almost weekly accidents reported from the capital city.
