PNC Presidential Candidate Dr.Mohamed Muizzu says the people of the Maldives have two choices and that he is the choice that would bring results.
Muizzu made the bold claim while speaking in Raa Maakurath on a campaign trip to the island ahead of his run-off against MDP Presidential Candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih later this month.
Muizzu said that when making decisions that would affect the nation, people should always choose what is more beneficial to the development of their community and not the political party they belong.
He thanked the people of Maakurath for their support in the first round of the Presidential Elections and said that he was sure that the support would be even stronger in the run-off.
Muizzu said his discussions with the President of the island's Council revealed that while some projects on the island are ongoing, some projects have been abandoned.
He said that under his government, projects would be carried out with utmost care and that he would bring about developmental changes without any regard to how many people voted for each party.
Muizzu also promised to empower the Council without any political discrimination.
He said that the people would see his government working to resolve the issues which hinder projects and see it working closely in the project till the end.
