MDP Presidential Candidate President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has promised to lower the down payments and rents for Vinares flats and MPL flats built in Hulhumale'.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Male' last night, President Solih said during his door-to-door activities he has received complaints about the high down payment and rent for the Vinares flats.

President Solih assured that he would work to resolve the issues soon and lower the down payment and rent for the flats.

He announced that he had handed over a flat list to fulfill the housing pledge to Customs employees and would soon make his promise to those at the University and Correction Services come true too.

The MDP Candidate said last night that his administration would provide housing in the capital Male' for those who have migrated to the island-city and lived in it for 20 years.
