The Democrats and the opposition Progressive Coalition have called for an investigation into the alleged theft of personal information by the ruling MDP.

The Democrats said in a statement that the MDP's Vote View software, which contains citizens' identities and personal information, include stolen personal data.

The Ministry of Communication Science and Technology, the Chief Technology Officer and the National Center for Information Technology are responsible for all aspects of personal information and data.

The Democrats have called for an investigation into the theft of public information under Article 232 of the Penal Code and action against those responsible. They also asked the MDP to separate its access to the leaked information and protect the rights of the people.

The Progressive Coalition said in a statement that personal security is a fundamental right in a democratic environment and everyone should be given the right to make political decisions as they wish.

The coalition said the ruling party's violation of the rights of the people is not only a violation of a fundamental right.
