PNC Presidential Candidate Dr. Mohamed Muizzu promises to transform the health center on Raa Atoll Alifushi into a hospital.
Speaking at a campaign rally on the island, Muizzu said that the island's health services must be improved and that if he is elected as President he would transform the island's health center into a hospital.
Muizzu further stated that while the island is experiencing rapid developmental changes, it is important to enhance the banking services on the island and promised to open a bank branch on the island.
Muizzu, who is also the Mayor of Male' City, said that reports saying that he would stop the current administration's airport development project on Alifushi if he came into power were false and that spreading such fake information was uncivil.
He promised to finish the airport project in a more elaborate and splendid manner.
The PNC Candidate also pledged to find more opportunities to develop local tourism on the island.
He said that under his rule, the government plans to develop resources needed by youth on every island and that he would confer with the youth of Alifushi to provide the services they want on the island.
Muizzu noted that all the islands have been negligent in managing waste and that his government would provide assistance to establish a system that would allow sustainable waste management systems on the island.
He said that he hope to win majority votes from Alifushi in order to fulfil his pledges to the island.
