President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has departed for Singapore today on an unofficial trip.
This was confirmed by Presidential Spokesperson Mohamed Miuvaan who said via Twitter that the President is set to return next Saturday.
He did not give any other details about the trip.
President Solih has traveled to Singapore several times over the last few months. He last visited the island nation in February of this year having made a trip to the country in October of last year as well.
In February of last year, President Solih had a thyroid operation in Singapore.
