Islamic Ministry says it is investigating the incident in which the Al Safa group canceled its Umrah trip scheduled for today at the last minute due to visa complications.
The group had informed those traveling to Saudia Arabi for Umrah rituals with the group that their departure had been canceled as the Saudi authorities had not issued their visas for the trip.
The message also said that it would be sharing more information about the trip at a later date.
The Press has come to know that the individuals going to Umrah via the group today had completed their pre-checking. It was also reported that the group had not informed the passengers about any visa complications prior to today.
The Ministry said that it had received complaints about the last minute cancelation and that it was launching an investigation into the matter.
Sources have said that Safa group had planned to take 181 to Umrah today.
