Police have arrested five individuals for harboring a fugitive they are searching for in relation to a gang-related fight.
Police had announced earlier that they were searching for 25-year-old Faaih Nizam of Rahdhebaige, Seenu Maradhoofeydhoo in relation to fighting with the use of a sharp object.
They said that five individuals have been arrested for harboring the fugitive and helping him evade capture. Police said that they arrested the individuals under a court warrant.
The series and organized crime department of the Police had initially issued an arrest warrant for the suspect back in February. The Police again issued the arrest warrant earlier this month as the suspect still remains at large.
The Police are continuing to investigate the case.
