Transport Ministry is now issuing digital licenses for vehicles after it digitalized its system.
The Ministry said that the main reason to issue digital licenses for vehicles was to enhance the services the Ministry provides to the public as well as make them more easily accessible.
It also said that while digital licenses would be issued starting today, it would issue physical licenses to those who request a printed license card.
The Ministry had upgraded its license software which connects the vehicle license data base to the Police network. Drivers can view their license details from the Police mobile App, Policemv.
Police would accept all valid licenses.
The new software allows the Transport Ministry to digitialize the whole process from application submission to license issuance.
