Police have confirmed that a man was stabbed and injured in Hulhumale' Phase II last night.
They said that the report of the stabbing incident came around 01:15 am in the morning.
Police said that a 26-year-old man was injured in the incident and that the victim was taken to the hospital with help of the Police.
They also said that no arrest has been made in relation to the incident.
Police added that they were further investigating the stabbing.
It is not clear whether the incident was related to gang violence or if it was a stand-alone attack.
Gang-related violence in Male' and Atolls have increased recently and most of the time these come as stabbings and street fights.
