Maldives National Defence Force MNDF says it has caught three foreign vessels in the Maldivian waters while fishing illegally.
MNDF said that they had caught three vessels from neighboring Sri Lanka. They also said that the vessels have been seized by the MNDF Coastguard ship Gazee.
MNDF did not give any other details about the vessels like the locations of the seized vessels.
They had caught another foreign vessel last month while illegally fishing in Maldivian waters. They had also seized another vessel last September.
