Education Minister Dr. Aishath Ali says two more schools would be opened in Phase II of Hulhumale this academic year.
She said this speaking at the ceremony held this morning to inaugurate Kaamil Didi Primary School. It is the first school to be opened in Hulhumalé phase II.
Minister Dr. Aishath said the opening of this school would make it easier for students and parents living in the newly inhabited phase II area.
The Minister further noted that a pre-school adjacent to Kaamil Didi Primary school and Salaahudhin school would also be opened this academic year and it would make it easier for those living in the area.
The Minister added that Salahuddin school would educate students from Kindergarten to Secondary school.
Kaamil Didi Primary School in Hulhumalé phase II is located adjacent to Hiya Towers. The school opened today with 824 students and 65 staff.
