Prime Minister of Sri Lanaka Ranil Wickremesinghe appoints Speaker of Maldives Parliament Mohamed Nasheed as releif cordinator for managing the current economic crisis in Sri Lanka.
In a conversation held today with Nasheed, PM discussed the generously offered by Nasheed to assist Sri Lanka in securing relief for the country from foreign nations.
The Prime Minister accepted and appointed him to coordinate the relief efforts.
The Prime Minister also thanked Nasheed for his support for Sri Lanka during the economic crisis, the Prime Minister’s Office added.
