Presidential Spokesperson Mohamed Mabrook Azeez says President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih would embark on an official trip to select islands from Shaviyani Atoll and Raa Atoll tomorrow.
In a tweet, Mabrook said that his trip would cover four islands from Shaviyani Atoll and four islands from Raa Atoll.
Mabrook said that this includes Funadhoo, Lhaimagu, Foakaidhoo, and Maaungoodhoo in Shaviyani Atoll as well as Vaadhoo, Alifushi, Rasgatheemu, and Angolhitheemu in Raa Atoll.
The Spokesperson did not give details on the duration of the official trip.
Last month, the President had visited 7 islands of Thaa Atoll including Thimarafushi, Kinbidhoo, Imadhoo, Veymandoo, Vandhoo, Kandoodhoo, and Gaadhifushi.
In July the President had visited major islands in Haa Dhaalu Atoll.
