Islamic Minister has invited the public to submit complaints on the newly revised registry of the poor and needy for the whole country.
In an announcement, the Ministry said those who were ineligible to submit application forms for the registry back in July when the ministry revised the registry can now submit their complaints.
The Ministry said that they can submit grievances between the 27th and the 29th of this month.
It requested those who wished to submit their complaints to email the relevant documents to the Ministry.
Islamic Ministry had updated the poor and needy registry for the Islamic year 1441 between 6th July to 23rd July.
The Ministry had also said those who were included in the Fitr Zakat registry of 1441 did not have to re-register for the poor and needy registry.
While updating the registry, the Ministry had requested those included to inform the Ministry if they wished to repealed from the registry or if they had shifted to another island and wished to register at the Island’s registry.
