President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has on Thursday visited the Health Emergency Operations Centre (HEOC) at Dharubaaruge and inquired about the operations of the center.
The President's Office said during the visit, President Solih joined a meeting chaired by Vice President Faisal Naseem at the HEOC.
Speaking at the meeting, the President expressed his profound gratitude to everyone, especially the healthcare staff, involved in the HEOC operations. He urged all parties to take note of the increase in COVID-19 cases in the islands and to give special consideration to the unfolding situation even as the number of COVID-19 cases is gradually decreasing in the Male’ region.
The President's Office added that President Solih also toured the different workstations setup at Dharubaaruge and met with individuals working tirelessly to keep HEOC operations running smoothly.
