Reports on Saturday confirm at least 04 employees of Housing Development Corporation (HDC) have tested positive for Covid-19 disease.
According the corporation's Managing Director Suhail Ahmed, the employees had tested positive for the viral contagion in the previous week.
Moreover, Suhail notes two employees who showed symptoms of the disease were discovered with the virus upon testing, while the other two were discovered through contact-tracing. The latter two had showed presence of Covid-19 following testing as well, though they had not shown any symptoms.
Maldives currently have reported a total of 3,175 positive cases - inclusive of both active cases and recoveries. So far 2,498 individuals have made recoveries while the country reports only 15 cases of death related to Covid-19.
