Maldives National Defense Force MNDF has appointed Colonel Mohamed Ibrahim to the newly formed post of Adjutant General today.

Chief of Defense Force Major General Abdullah Shamaal presented the letter of appointment to the colonel at a special ceremony held at MNDF Headquarters Bandaara Koshi.

Vice Chief of Defense Force Brigadier General Abduhraheem Abdul Latheef also participated in the ceremony.

MNDF clarified that the Adjutant General’s Corps (AG Corps) was a support service that would be offering expertise on MNDF ceremonial duty posts, civil and public affairs services, legal support, military police services, human resources and financial management.

Before being appointed as the Adjutant General, Colonel Mohamed Ibrahim had been serving as the heading the MNDF Central Area Command.
