Health authorities on Monday, 08 June, have confirmed the discovery of another 13 positive cases of Covid-19 in Maldives.
However, the authorities had further confessed of 98 recoveries confirmed on Monday.
With this development the total number of positive cases reported from Maldives have risen to 1916, while the active cases have dropped to 981 with the new batch of recoveries.
Ministry of Health in their dashboard, confirmed the total number of recoveries have increased to 925, which is a 48.28% recovery rate.
Meanwhile, Maldives have reported a total of 8 deaths in the country related to the viral contagion.
