Health Protection Agency HPA says 5 more individuals have recovered from Covid-19 in the Maldives.
The HPA dashboard on Covid-19 showed that 406 people have now recovered from the illness in the Maldives. This is 24.2 percent of the total number of infected individuals in the Maldives.
The latest HPA data showed that 1672 people have now tested positive for Covid-19 in the country.
This includes 555 locals and 1117 foreigners.
Bangladeshis living in the country represents the most positive cases in the Maldives with 902 Bangladeshi nationals tested positive for Covid-19 in the country.
The Maldives has recorded 5 Covid-19 related deaths in the Maldives including three locals above the age of 80 and 2 Bangladeshi nationals working the country.
