Health authorities on Saturday revealed 159 new recoveries from the viral disease and 39 new positive cases.
With the latest recoveries the total number of people who recovered from the viral disease in Maldives have jumped to 410.
On the other hand the discovery of 39 new positive cases have hiked the total number of positive cases reported in the country to 1630, out of which 1178 remain as active cases.
Maldives reports the youngest individual to contract the disease aged 11, with the assigned case number of MAV1464 while the oldest individual to contract Covid-19 was aged 92, with assigned case number MAV1547.
So far the island nation confirms a total of 5 deaths related to the viral pandemic, which included 3 elderly citizens and two middle-aged Bangladesh expats aged 33 and 45.
Meanwhile, Greater Male' Region remains under active lockdown which has exceeded more than a month's period.
Although there have been no downward trends in new case discoveries, government had announced eases on restrictive measures.
