Maldive Gas on Wednesday, announced its corporate decision of going cashless in accepting payments.
According to the premier gas distributor, the decision to shift its payment methods to a fully digital or online method will enforce safety for both customers and staff as the Covid-19 virus continues in the country.
Maldives Gas announced it had facilitated two payment modes for its customer base, with one option being the online payment option via the company's official website.
Orders can be placed and subsequently paid to, using the online platform.
The company had also announced of its hotline number 1616, to place orders. Maldive Gas asserted orders placed through hotline will be processed once after the payment slip has been digitally forwarded to its Viber contact at 7021616.
Additionally, walk-ins are accepted from entities; businesses and individuals with permits. Maldive Gas confirmed walk-in orders are accepted between 15:00hrs and 17:00hrs and between 22:30hrs and 00:30hrs.
