Health Protection Agency confirm 13 more Maldivians have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
On Wednesday afternoon the authority had reported 06 cases of confirmed COVID-19 patients; which included 5 Maldivians and 01 Pakistani national.
Total confirmed cases as of now for the current 24-hour window has reached 19 while the total number of cases from Maldives have reached to 269.
Number of Maldivians contracting the virus have reached 117 while 152 expatriates have tested positive so far.
The Greater Male' Region have been under a total lockdown since 15 April, when the first case from Male' City was discovered.
Earlier on Wednesday afternoon, HPA confirmed the initial 14-day lockdown which will become due on 30 April have been extended by another 14 days effective until 14 May 2020.
