A biker lost control of his vehicle causing a crash on parked vehicles at Dhaalu atoll Kudahuvadhoo on Saturday morning.
Maldives Police Service confirms a biker lost control of his vehicle while speeding through the Marine Drive road of the island and caused the accident.
The road accident was reported to authorities around 06:15hrs of Saturday, 11 April, morning.
Authorities confirm the uncontrolled vehicle had crashed on three other parked motorbikes closeby at the site of incidence.
Moreover, it was confirmed the uncontrolled vehicle had two locals on it at the time of the incident. Authorities confirm the rider received several cuts and bruises due to the crash while the passenger received a swelling on right ankle and a concussion to his head.
Damages were reported on the impacting and parked vehicles.
Post initial inquiry, local authorities discovered the rider did not possess a credible driver's license.
