A Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) seaplane faced a major setback when one of its propellers came undone amid landing at Kurehdhoo Resort.
The propeller received significant damages during the seaplane's attempt to land around the vicinity of the resort, while it was reported the incident took place due to strong gusts.
Though no injuries or fatalities have been reported, photos of the incident on social media platforms show heavy damage on the plane's propeller.
A team of TMA technicians were dispatched almost immediately after the incident was reported, meanwhile the plane is docked at the sea terminal across Kurehdhoo Resort.
