Two locals have received injuries after debris from a balcony fell on top of them.
Maldives Police Service reported the debris from the second story of Henveiru Vaijeheyge fell, injuring two expats who were situated beneath it at the time of incidence.
The incident was reported to local law enforcement around 11:11hrs on Sunday morning.
The injured expats were rushed to ADK Hospital following the incident, while earlier reports claim they had not received critical injuries.
Meanwhile local police have cordoned off the area for safety reasons.
Earlier on 26 June 2019, a Henveiru district residence's balcony fell causing the falling debris to injure at least four individuals who were present at the location.
