A Maldivian local aged 34, who went missing on Thursday was found alive and well amid search.
According to Maldives police, the local man who went missing on 26 December, was reported to the authorities on Saturday morning at 09:00hrs.
Reports also confirm the local man was identified as one Hussain Shifau, a Male' resident.
Earlier, his spouse uploaded a picture of him captioning that the man had gone missing since Thursday and his whereabouts were unknown at the time of the Tweet.
His spouse, in her tweet had requested from the public to assist in searching him.
However, a related tweet by another user had given an update on the situation stating Shifau had responded to his relatives later.
Since then the original tweet has been deleted.
Several of his friends on Twitter confirm Shifau came back to his house and was in good health.
Meanwhile the reason for his undisclosed whereabouts since Thursday has not been made public or commented on by Shifau.
