Police confirm that a man has died after a collision on the Sinamale' bridge highway.
Police said the accident occurred when a motorcycle hit a cone near the solar panels in the lane leading to Male' from Hulhumale'.
They said that the incident was reported around 8:19 in the morning.
Police reported that the accident victim was taken to IGMH in Male'. Police said that the hospital had confirmed that the victim succumbed to his injuries around 09:05 in the morning.
The victim has been identified as a Bangladeshi man.
Though the Police did not share any more information about the case, Police did say that they were further investigating the case.
Traffic accidents are common on the Sinamale' bridge and the connecting highway.
