The President's Office has opened applications to fill positions in the National Integrity Commission, as the terms of its four members are due to expire.
The President's Office said that eligible candidates may submit the prescribed application form at the President’s Office between 08:30 AM and 12:00 PM, excluding public holidays, from today until 7 September 2025.
The application form is available for download from the President’s Office.
The National Integrity Commission was established to determine all rules and procedures for dealing with matters relating to law enforcement agencies, their employees, and matters relating to such agencies, and to regulate the action taken concerning such matters.
It was formed back in 2015 under the National Integrity Law.
Currently, the members of the NIC are Gasim Abdul Kareem, who is the President of the Commission, Ashiyath Inaya, Shuaib Abdul Rahman, Aminath Shadhiya, and Mariyam Insha Faisal.
All but Insha were appointed to the Commission back in 2020 and Insha was appointed to the Commission last year.
