The Bank of Maldives BML partners with the Maldives Olympic Committee (MOC) to offer its Sports Scholarship Program for the second year, reaffirming its commitment to supporting top national athletes in reaching their full potential through specialized training programs.
The Bank said that the MOC will oversee the selection of athletes, and nominations will be open to MOC member associations.
It further said that this fully funded scholarship allows athletes to train at globally renowned high-performance training centers.
The Bank said that in the program’s first batch, seven athletes from four different sports completed their training successfully, signifying a major step forward in nurturing elite talent in the Maldives.
