Commissioner of Police Ali Shujau has advised police officers never to disappoint a citizen who comes to police for assistance.
He advised this in his meeting with the Police officers stationed in the northern islands of Haa Alifu Dhidhoo, Kelaa, and Utheem while on a tour of the Atoll.
During the meetings with the police, the Commissioner advised the people not to disappoint them if they come to the police.
The Commissioner also asked the policemen to meet the people of the islands where they were stationed to hear their concerns and provide police services closer to the people. He further stated that the Police play a key role in the development projects carried out in the islands.
Commissioner Shujau is expected to other islands of Haa Alifu Atoll today.
Police said that the purpose of his visit was to identify the crime situation in rural areas and the people's concerns.
