The first session of today's Parliamentary meeting has been adjourned due to the lack of work.
The session was adjourned due to the lack of work just 10 minutes after it began.
Today, the Parliament summoned the Housing Minister Dr. Ali Haidhar upon the request made by the MP for Galolhu North Constituency Mohamed Ibrahim. However, the Minister failed to attend the session as he had a family emergency at the time as per news reports.
The next item on the agenda of today's session is the first reading of the Insurance Bill moved by Mahibadu MP Ahmed Thorig on behalf of the government.
The agenda also included several committee reports on two different state agencies. But when the reports were opened up for debate, no MP wanted to debate on the reports.
