International Aid Campaign (IAC) says it has begun distributing Iftar packages in Gaza, the Palestinian besieged enclave. IAC said the packages were made with aid received from Maldivians.
It plans to distribute 5,000 Iftar packages to different parts of Gaza this week.
Many in Gaza, especially children, are suffering from hunger, with Israel blocking aid trucks from entering the enclave and essentially starving the people of food and other basic needs.
International mediation has failed to stop Israel from bombarding Gaza relentlessly as retaliation to attacks from Palestinian resistance fighters on Israeli soil back in October.
Since then, Israeli attacks have killed a staggering 31,923 Palestinians, including 13,000 children, with more than 8,000 missing under the rubble of fallen buildings all over Gaza.
