The Ministry of Social and Family Development says members of the public can get answers from Minister Dr. Aishath Shiham via a facebook live arranged by the Ministry.
The Ministry of Social and Family Development said in a post on X today that the live will be held on Thursday, February 8 at 8:30 pm.
The minister will be asked questions through comments during the Facebook live. Aishath Shiham will continue to respond, the ministry said.
This is the first time that such an event has been held to answer public questions through Facebook.
The live is held at a time when domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault are on the rise. Recently, President Dr. Muizzu also held a Facebook live to answer questions from the public.
