The junction of Ameenee Magu and Izzuddin Magu and the junction of Ameenee Magu and Kanbaaisaa Ranee Hingun has been opened to traffic today.
The work on the unfinished area of Amenee Magu between the Housing Ministry office and the Dhiraagu head office building started a month ago. The tarring began on Saturday and was completed yesterday.
Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Dr. Abdullah Muthalib said he hoped the pumps would be brought as soon as possible and the works would be completed soon.
The last two segments of Ameene Magu will be opened together on Saturday morning, the Construction Ministry said.
The then Planning Ministry awarded the contract to RDC on July 4, 2022, for MVR 84 million.
